What color is it?: Colorless, off-yellow, pink

What is the story behind this gemstone?: Is becoming a popular colored faceted gemstones to emulate a diamond....even though they are very far apart in properties.

Can I wear it everyday?: If you can find a faceted danburite already in a store you will be fortunate. It is a long wearing gemstone.

Is it expensive?: No. About the same price as a colorless (white) topaz. It will be rare to get a claim for a faceted danburite, but its good to know about them if you do, which is why they are included here.

Is it a birthstone?: No.

What do I need to know before going shopping?: Call ahead. Most jewelers will not know about this interesting gemstone. But it can be quite pretty and wear very well
